As always, use organic ingredients for YOUR health!
½ cup full fat coconut milk (from can)
2 ½ cups water
2 ½ Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp Pure stevia extract powder
2 tsp vanilla extract (Try Nielsen-Massey Organic Fair Trade Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract)
¼ tsp cinnamon (optional)
Choose to prepare on stovetop or in microwave.
Stovetop. Place water and coconut milk in a saucepan. Stir. Warm on medium heat until it starts to bubble. Turn off heat. Add cocoa powder, stevia and vanilla bean paste and mix with wooden spoon until thoroughly combined. Carefully pour into mugs. Dust top with optional cinnamon and enjoy!
Microwave. Place water and coconut milk in a large microwaveable bowl. Stir. Heat for 3 minutes on high. Carefully, remove from microwave. Stir in cocoa powder, stevia and vanilla bean paste. Pour into mugs. Dust top with optional cinnamon and enjoy!
Seeking a more spirited version? Replace 3 oz of water with 3 oz premium gluten free vodka, such as CIROC (grapes) or CHOPIN (potatoes). Add up to ¼ tsp more stevia if you desire more sweetness.
