Nataliya not only roasted 13lb of supremely succulent  pork, but also blessed us with the most gorgeous candied cake cones from her budding biz: @the_bakeupartist_ 

@grant.linford also made enough mashed potatoes to feed a full platoon. 

Loki + Disco 🐕 🐶 eagerly welcomed everyone into their home + only licked the table once. @yeseniargarza you know a charcuterie board is their weakness.

Absurd volumes of food + booze were consumed. We are still funding red wine spilled around the house, but well done! Y’all missed the furniture! 

Dancing + aggressive Photo Booth abuse ensued. As usual, the girls won! 

What pleased me most? I’ve never witnessed another event where people integrated more, from pics with strangers to you have to try __x’s___ dish, to whoa, we’re neighbors how have we not met to see you on the 🏐 court, everyone went home with new friends. Oops, that sounds terrible, but you know what I mean! 

They say down in Hooville, that Whitney’s ❤️ grew 5X that day.

BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUATS: One Move, Target 2 Totall BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUATS: 
One Move, Target 2 Totally Different MUSCLES

You can completely change which muscles take over in a Bulgarian split squat—just by adjusting your body angle. Same exercise… totally different stimulus.

✨ Want more quad focus?
	•	Keep your torso upright
	•	Take a shorter stance
	•	Drive the knee forward over the toes
➡️ This increases knee flexion, making the quads the primary movers.

🔥 Want more glutes + hamstrings?
	•	Lean your torso slightly forward
	•	Step into a longer stance
	•	Think “sit back” as you descend
➡️ This shifts the load toward the hip hinge, putting the glutes in charge.

Same movement pattern. Different angles. Different muscles!

Welcome to the 300lb Club, Eden! Lady hit her new Welcome to the 300lb Club, Eden! Lady hit her new PR of 300lb Hip Thrust in last round of 4 Sets of:
2 Mini-Sets of 6 Reps. Resting 30sec in between mini sets. 

Promise she got all 6 reps in 1st mini-set 🤣 Silly trainer just posting the 2nd mini-set + celebration. 🎉✨ 

Like all of us, Eden is very competitive + can be hard on herself when she doesn’t have as quantifiably solid lift as desired. This video captures her genuine happiness. She’s the only person who mattered to me at that moment. 

Eden came to us 2 years ago severely underweight + having never lifted a weight before. We’ve fixed her hip rotation + right leg dominance to eliminate back pain common in lifts forced with sketchy form. Massive progress! 

So proud of you + the powerful pain-free body + booty you’ve built, Eden! Strong looks gorgeous on you! ❤️

Chuckling to myself. The angle reveals so much. Check out that booty bounce as I struggle to stay anchored…it’s hilarious.
But heck yes:
I CAN PULL MUCH, MUCH MORE THAN I WEIGH!

And I’m proud of it!

To all the strong women out there: DON’T BE SHY! Whoever told you to bow your head, avert your eyes, not draw attention or downplay your strength is a weak person themselves. Own it! You work hard. I’m proud of you. You should be too!

To women who want to be strong: JOIN US! 

After 30 years of CHASING SKINNY, I’ll never forget the perpetual physical exhaustion, constant self-comparison with skeletal models + unyielding self-devaluation for never reaching their pin-thin pedestal. Instead, I started chasing strong. I began WORKING WITH MY BODY + genetics vs against them + HATING MYSELF for what I unfairly + narrow-mindedly judged to be my shortcomings. 

15 years later, it still feels amazing. 

There’s something so REAL + GRATIFYING about being able to move more than you weigh. It’s healthy to celebrate these little, but incredibly relatable milestones, such as 1st leg pressing, then hip thrusting, then lat pulling more than you weigh. 

⭐️ Want an aging gracefully tip? 
LIFT WEIGHTS! More female lifters = larger sample sizes = more conclusive studies, which show lifting can be more beneficial to building + maintaining bone density; thus, fighting osteoporosis than prescription medications! Yes women, we are disproportionately more likely to have weak bones vs men. Unfair, but let’s do something about it. Today, not next month or next year. 

FYI: This is uniquely true to weight lifting. 

Not HIIT. Not cardio. Not yoga. Not Pilates. Not snowboarding or skiing or beach volleyball. 
BTW: I ❤️ all of these, but I prioritize my strength training + carefully work them in to enhance, not distract from my results. 

Just getting a lil pumped up + sharing the energy yield! Hope it inspires you to take the leap + start lifting some heavy things. If you need a guide to teach you proper form to ⬇️ injury + ⬆️ results, I’d ❤️ to help!
