I found Byron and Whitney as I was turning 43 and felt blah. I had a strong weight training background and years of personal training at Equinox, but I had taken some time off and wasn’t thrilled to rejoin Equinox. I am so glad I took the leap! Almost 8 months in now, 2 days a week, and I am feeling great and seeing results.
I have mainly worked with Byron, however Whitney has trained me a couple times and was my initial contact when I reached out. I was very impressed with the detail that was given to learning about my likes/dislikes/previous training/injuries/eating habits/goals, etc before we started. These two really know what they are doing! (not the case with all trainers). They are focused on form and preventing injuries. The difference I have noticed from my prior training experience is what has made all the difference. I have perfected my form in ways I have never been taught previously! Never did I know my trapezius muscles were working during much of my upper body training, leading to rounded shoulders and tightness. I can now work other parts of my back I was never able to and feel so much better.
They teach an awesome home workout to compliment the in person training, which has made a huge difference in my waistline and core strength. They stress rolling out between your workouts, and teach you the correct way to do it!
Whitney and Byron have helped me with my diet habits and I’ve learned great meal prepping tools that I am finally using. They really live what they teach and that has been an inspiration to me too. I highly recommend taking the leap.
