Had the misfortune of tuning into the 2014 CrossFit Games while channel surfing. Perhaps it’s my years of experience combined with a Masters degree in Sports Science that feeds my growing animosity towards all that is CrossFit, but truthfully, anyone with a basic understanding of anatomy and the purpose of the Olympic lifting exercises borrowed by this “sport,” can quickly determine high reps with near max loads in a circuit competing for best time will inevitably lead to injury.  Sorry but watching people attempt to lift weights with horrendous form and little concern for actual physical wellbeing just doesn’t constitute a sport in my opinion.
